THE AASP RESPONDS TO SURVEY WITH UNPRECEDENTED SPINECARE PUBLIC AWARENESS INITITATIVE
As a result of an online survey forwarded to members and potential members of the
American Academy of Spine Physicians during this month of February, the AASP is preparing to commence a National Spinecare Public Awareness Initiative.
During the time following February survey, the AASP developed more than ten unique public awareness resources and tools for AASP membership. The Initiative resources will be provided to the membership at no cost. The value of the resource packet is estimated at over $10,000. The proposed initiative is unprecedented and will be deployed during the first week in March. It will command the attention of the healthcare field and other organizations. We believe it will set a new precedent for member services. The primary objective of the Initiative is to increase public awareness of the spine, spine disorders an available spinecare. The AASP will use its survey technology to forward a special initiative survey depicting each of the initiative resources to members and potential members for review and comment.
The AASP is allowing approximately 48 hours for the return of the survey, after which time, improvements to the existing resources will be made. After the modifications are made the initiative will be started. The whole process is expected to take 4-5 days. The efficiency of Initiative resource development and operation will serve as an example of how fast the AASP can meet the needs of its membership.
