THE ISA AND THE AASP TO INTRODUCE NATIONAL DIRECTORY OF SPINE PHYSICIANS
The American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) introduces the National Directory of Spine Physicians, which is sponsored by the International Spine Association (ISA) as a public service. The International Spine Association (ISA) is an organization comprised of many divisions: spine societies of most countries having spine physicians. The ISA is committed to the ongoing development of a large educational database on basic spinal anatomy, information about spinal disorders, available therapeutic options, information about spinal diagnostic procedures and advances in technology.
The online National Directory of Spine Physicians provides the public with a free online locator for chiropractic physicians and neurosurgeons who have acknowledged their practice to include spinecare. The directory provides a sophisticated online search function to help locate a spine physician by their last name or by their geographic location via zip code, city or state.
The upper levels (Levels II, III and IV), of the National Directory of Spine Physicians, provide the spine physican who is an AASP member with additional options for educating their patients and the public through advanced technology.
