AASP “30 TIPS FOR A HEALTHY SPINE” BECOMES A VALUABLE PATIENT EDUCATION RESOURCE
 The scientific committee of the AASP recently developed a patient resource titled “30 Tips for Better Spine Health”. The AASP publication was made available last month. Members have begun using the informative document with their patients. A number of AASP members have taken the time to thank the AASP for developing such a valuable resource. Some members have displayed the “30 Tips” on their practice website.
Based upon the feedback the AASP has received it appears that this publication may represent one of the single most important educational steps a spine physician can implement in their practice to facilitate spine health and patient self-care. The document is available free to members in three primary formats;
1) as a downloadable fact sheet,
2) in a downloadable brochure format
3) as a plug-in resource for the member’s personalized AASP website.
The document can be personalized with the members name and contact information along with their designation as an active member of the AASP.
For members who have activated their personalized AASP website, the document is available to be plugged into the website for efficient access by patients and the public.
