The online National Directory of Spine Physicians) provided by the American Academy of Spine Physicians and sponsored by the International Spine Association) received over 1,000 visitors during November. Many of the visitors are individuals looking for a spine expert in their geographic region. The number of visitors will continue to grow significantly with each passing week. It is projected that within a few months the directory could be attracting more than 10,000 visitors per month. Numerous steps are being implemented to increase the visibility of the online directly with the major search engines, by expanding the content of the directory and securing links with other sites.

 Members of the AASP are encouraged to continue their education and become credentialed through the AASP, further increasing their visibility as a spine expert on the searchable National Directory of Spine Physicians.
