AASP Academy Council members, Dr. George Dohrmann and Dr. Stephen Ondra, are now serving in leadership positions in Illinois. Dr. Dohrmann is President of the Chicago Neurological Society, comprised of all those in the clinical neurosciences.  

Dr. Ondra is President of the Illinois Neurosurgical Society and represents the interests of the neurosurgeons in that state. Both Dr. Dohrmann and Dr. Ondra are proponents of conservative and cooperative spinecare as espoused by the AASP.
