An office manager’s guide is being offered as part of the Initiative resource packet available to all members of the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP). The guide is free to members of the AASP.  The office manager’s guide has been developed to provide an overview of the practice building resources available and those steps which can be implemented to expand the members practice. Use of the Initiative resources will result in greater visibility of the member’s local role in spinecare while providing a valuable educational opportunity for patients and members of the community.

The office manager’s role in the Spinecare Public Awareness Initiative is critical and will help to expand the doctor’s practice. The AASP understands that physicians are busy caring for their patients and often require assistance from their staff to implement educational strategies. The AASP encourages its membership to make each office manager familiar with the member benefits on the AASP website, particularly the document titled “Marketing Through the AASP”.
