The AASP recently added 10 online Journal Review Courses. Continuing education credits can be obtained through the American Academy of Spine Physicians' by successfully completing the online Journal Review Courses (JRC). The process requires reading a select Journal Review article and successfully completing the online test pertinent to the article with 80% or better proficiency. Some of the articles can be directly accessed online whereas others have to be obtained in printed form.  The AASP is committed to developing the majority of Journal Review Courses around online Journal articles which could be accessed right from the AASP website. They can be read online or downloaded to a printer within the physician’s office. The number of continuing credits available is listed with the title for each article.

The cost efficient online Journal Review Courses provide the physican with an opportunity to expand their knowledge base, retrieve current information, meet state licensure requirements and expand their professional curriculum vitae. Continuing education credits obtained through AASP Journal Review Courses can be applied toward obtaining Diplomate status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians (DASSP) and Fellow status with the American College of Spine Physicians (FACSP).
