PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE ONLINE NATIONAL DIRECTORY OF SPINE PHYSICIANS IS GROWING EACH MONTH

The online NATIONAL DIRECTORY OF SPINE PHYSICIANS is receiving a growing number of unique visits each month. Individuals are primarily going to the directory to find a spine physician in their area. Consumers will choose a physician based upon a number of factors which include location, professionalism, distinguishing credentials and the amount of information made available to them by the member through the directory.

There are four levels to the directory. All AASP members have contact information posted on level one and have a physician profile page posted at level II. Each member has the opportunity to list their website address on Level II and can link a website which would serve as level III of the directory. The fourth level of the directory is the Patient Information Center (PIC) which is available as plug-ins to the member’s personalized AASP website.

Some of the plug-ins comes with the website as par to the member benefits whereas others must be purchased. Each AASP member has an opportunity to distinguish themselves on the highly visible directory by obtaining Diplomate status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians (DAASP) and Fellow status with the American College of Spine Physicians (FACSP)
