Dr. Pugh is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding college of the profession. During his final year at Palmer, he served as President of the Spinal Bio-Mechanics Club, where he taught advanced spinal adjusting and rehabilitation procedures, and compiled a workbook on these subjects for use by chiropractic students. After receiving his degree, Dr. Pugh accepted an associateship at Lawrence Chiropractic Clinic in Stillwater, Minnesota, a clinic with a reputation for excellence spanning over four decades. Dr. Pugh relocated to Buford in July 2002 to be near family, and to establish Hamilton Mill Spine Center.
Dr. Pugh is State and National Board Certified. Besides being a member of both the Georgia Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association, he is also a member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP), an organization comprised of Chiropractic Physicians and Neurosurgeons dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients with spinal disorders through continuing education, interprofessional communication and interdisciplinary referral.
