The online National Directory of Spine Physicians has been offering listings to chiropractors/chiropractic physicians and will continue to do so. As of January 2004 the process of such listings will be open to neurosurgeons. Although neurosurgeons had requested to be included earlier, this was not possible. As there were so many chiropractors/chiropractic physicians registering in the directory, it was necessary to delay the neurosurgical listings for logistical reasons. As of January 2004 the National Directory of Spine Physicians will be able to accommodate the neurosurgeons as well.
