Numerous members of the AASP have submitted their personalized acceptance press releases to local and national publications. Many of the publishing groups appear to be posting the personalized press releases on their Internet sites thereby increasing public exposure to the AASP member long after the publication has been disseminated in printed form. This provides a valuable source of marketing for the AASP member. When the press release is posted onto an organizations Internet Site or web page the member’s press release can be accessed by the public by performing an online search using key words not necessarily limited to the doctor’s last name.
