What Is It?

The Electro-Acuscope represents a dynamic concept in healing. Its high degree of effectiveness in pain relief and promotion of healing is based upon a series of electric and electromagnetic manipulations of the patient's tissues.

The development of the Electro-Accuscope is based on space-age computer technology intended for the non-invasive control of pain without the use of needles or gross amounts of electricity.

The Electro-Acuscope is simply an input device that continuously monitors the electrical activity of the body and treats according to the information that is fed into its computers. In other words, the body is tuning the instrument for an individualized treatment rather than the instrument treating with some preset parameter.

How does it work? 

It treats by introducing a gentle current in waveforms similar to the body's own electrical currents. This increases the electrical activity of the affected tissue so that cells can begin the work of self repair. By using electrical current to help supply the inside of the cell with raw materials (amino acids and calcium) for synthesizing necessary proteins and to encourage the formation of ATP in order to provide the "power^" for protein synthesis, one can then accelerate cellular repair.

The patient may feel a slight tingling but most feel nothing. Auricular points may cause a transient burning sensation. It is virtually painless treatment.

The Acuscope is currently being used by professional athletic teams, sports medicine practices, hospitals, private physicians, psychologists, and therapists in every health care field throughout the world.

Dozens of conditions treated include acute and chronic sprains and strains, arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, fractures and sprains, torn muscles and ligaments, neuralgias (for example shingles), overuse injuries (carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, etc.), neck and back pains, TMJ problems, headaches, neuromas, and so-called "pinched nerves." Other treatable conditions include wound healing (ulcers, burns, slow healing incisions, painful scars).  It is very effective in treating infections, reflex sympathetic disorders, sleep disorders and chronic fatigue symptoms. 

In addition, it is shown to be effective in dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, addictions (smoking, drugs, etc.), and other emotional issues.

Treatments

Each treatment will take from five to thirty minutes, depending on the extent of the problem(s) and the number of treatments you have already had.  Since the effects are cumulative, each Electro-Acuscope treatment generally takes less and less time.
