The AASP offers an unprecedented opportunity for neurosurgeons and chiropractic physicians to earn a prestigious Fellow status with the American College of Spine Physicians (FACSP) in the same continuing education forum. The AASP provides economical home or office study options providing physicians with an opportunity to pursue academic and clinical excellence without having to leave their practice or families for long periods of time. The ACSP awards Fellow status to those physicians who hold an active Diplomate status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians and who achieve an additional 200 continuing education credits, passing all tests with a minimum of 80% proficiency in all categories.

Acknowledge your commitment to achieving the highest level of academic distinction offered through the AASP to your patients and professional colleagues by achieving Fellow status and using the designated initials F.A.C.S.P. after your professional degree.

To obtain Fellow status complete the 4 criteria below:

1. The applicant must be a licensed chiropractic physician or neurosurgeon
2. The applicant must be a member in good standing of the American Academy of Spine Physicians
3. The applicant must hold an active Diplomate status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians.
4. Successfully obtain a minimum of 200 continuing education credits through the AASP while maintaining an Diplomate status with the AASP
