THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF SPINE PHYSICIANS IS COMMITTED TO EDUCATION AND DEVELOPING LEADERS IN THE FIELD OF SPINECARE

The AASP offers the opportunity for neurosurgeons and chiropractic physicians to earn a Diplomate status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians (DAASP) in the same continuing education forum. The AASP provides economical home or office study options providing physicians with an opportunity to pursue academic and clinical excellence without having to leave their practice or families for long periods of time. The AASP awards Diplomate status to those physicians who achieve 300 continuing education credits, passing all tests with a minimum of 80% proficiency in all categories.

Acknowledge your commitment to continuing education to your patients and professional colleagues by achieving Diplomate status and using the designated initials D.A.A.S.P. after your professional degree.

To obtain Diplomate status complete the 4 criteria below:

1. The applicant must be a licensed chiropractic physicians or neurosurgeon
2. The applicant must be a member in good standing of the American Academy of Spine Physicians
3. The applicant must apply and be accepted as a credential eligible physician. (see box below)
4. Successfully obtain a minimum of 300 continuing education credits through the AASP while maintaining a credential eligible status
