SIBERIA IS LOCATION OF HEAD AND SPINE INJURY MEETING
Epidemiology of the head and spinal injury was a highlight of the International Conference on recent Advances in Neurotraumatology (ICRAN). ICRAN was held in Novosibirsk, the capital of Siberia, 18-21 June 2012. Patterns of injury were identified and prevention and treatment protocols discussed. The American Academy of Spine Physicians was represented by Academy Council member, Professor George Dohrmann of the University of Chicago.
