WEBSITE LINK TO ONLINE PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTER

The American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) is developing website plugins. A “plugin” refers to an icon or link which can be embedded onto a website page to serve as a click through portal to additional information.  The International Spine Association (ISA) recently offered a website plugin which can be used by members of the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) on their websites. The ISA plugin provides a seamless link to the Public Information Center (PIC), an online multimedia database of information on the spine, spinehealth and available spinecare care. The AASP and the ISA have been working together to develop an internet bridge which would help add informational depth to member’s professional websites. This valuable internet resource is referred to as the ISA PIC Plugin. There is no charge for member’s use of the Plugin.  The ISA may offer the use of the Plugin to all healthcare professionals. This will enhance awareness about the complexity of the spine and it will bring greater attention to the role of spine specialists.
