One of the top three computer manufactures has offered to make available to our physicians large flat screen monitors for a price almost at cost to them.  These large monitors are often used by physicians to replace the bulky X-Ray view boxes. Many advanced imaging centers forward MRI and CT studies to physicians on CD and some allow online access to the studies.  This will make these monitors a necessary piece of office equipment and invaluable for the physician for educating patients on their spine conditions.  As a pilot program, those interested should contact the AASP director of Public Relations at   As an example, a 24" flat panel is priced at $675 (retail $800).
