The public is turning to the Internet for healthcare information. The use is growing significantly each year. To help keep its members informed about Internet use, the
American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) has implemented an RSS feed to the Pew Internet Project. The Pew Internet & American Life Project produces reports that explore the impact of the Internet on families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, health care, and civic and political life. The Pew Project is an authoritative source on the evolution of the Internet. They gather reliable information through the collection of data and analysis of real-world developments as they affect the virtual world.
The information can be accessed on the homepage of the AASP website. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It represents content format which, when used with an RSS aggregator, lets users know whenever anything on a specific Web page is updated with new content. RSS Feeds are commonly used on weblogs (blogs), news websites and other resources which are frequently updated with new content. The aggregator "pulls" content to the user every time a specified page is updated and allows the user to view all the new content in one location.
