A course on maximal and minimal approaches to spine problems was held recently. Several of the organizers and several of the speakers were members of the American Academy of Spine Physicians. The program included discussion of new technologies such as the use of endoscopy for the treatment of spine disorders and the status of the artificial disc. Doctors involved in conservative spinecare as well as those involved in operative spinecare attended.
