Local Physician Achieves Elite Fellow Status

Dr. ____________ (chiropractic physician/ chiropractor/neurosurgeon), and spine physician was recently awarded Fellow status with American College of Spine Physicians (ACSP), the highest level of post-doctoral academic recognition in the field of spinecare (offered to spine physicians). The ACSP is an elite group of chiropractic physicians and neurosurgeons who are committed to academic excellence and improving the quality of spinecare.  Fellow status is granted to those few spine physicians who have distinguished themselves amongst their colleagues and who have achieved the required academic requirements through the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP). The AASP is a national organization of chiropractic physicians (chiropractors) and neurosurgeons dedicated to conservative and cooperative spinecare.

To obtain Fellow status with the ACSP the physician must be an active member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) and have already achieved Diplomate status with the AASP. The physican must then complete the required academic (continuing education) requirements which includes a rigorous course of testing further requiring a composite score of 80% proficiency or better.  After completing the academic requirements and after being certified by the Education Council of the American College of Spine Physicians, the Board of Regents then confers upon the spine physican the designation of Fellow of the American College of Spine Physican.

Having been awarded Fellow status with the American College of Spine Physicians (ACSP), Dr. ____________ has been granted the right to use the initials F.A.C.S.P. after his/her name and professional degree, representing the elilte status achieved as Fellow of the American College of Spine Physicians (FACSP).
