Various medical specialists such as chiropractic physicians and neurosurgeons have extensive training in neurology, spinal anatomy, spinal biomechanics, and in diseases of the spine, thus, serving as the basis for cooperative care. By working together, physicians of various disciplines can provide efficient care for the full spectrum of spine disorders. Other physician members of the spinecare team include pain management specialists, orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologist, and physiatrists.
